After the lesson, students are able to:

+ Ask and answer the questions about means of transport.

+ Develop speaking and listening skills.

I. Warm-up: 3’

-Call some pairs to go to the board and check for previous lesoon.

II. New lesson * Vocabulary:

- Follow the steps of presenting new words.

-Follow T’s instructions.

- Let sts read after

- Point  and asks to read themselves

- Call some sts to read in front of the class.

 - Check their pronunciation

 - take a bus

- go out of

- turn right

- at the zoo entrance

- go by plane

- walk for five minutes

-Show the pictures on the bb and read the dialogues.

- Look  and repeat the dialogues 3 times.

- Ask  sts to work in  pairs to read the dialogue

- Call some pairs to read the dialogue.

- Check their comprehension of the story.

- Give out the pattern

-Sts copy the pattern.

-Have Ss sing the song Whe-re’s the bus stop?

-Introduce the intonation.

- Follow T’s instructions.

- Let sts read

*Listen and repeat: 10’

- Show the words, models the intonation, asks ss to listen two times

- Ask sts to repeat intonation.

- Call some sts to read in front of the class.

*Listen and circle a or b. Then say the sentences aloud: 10’

- Tell the class that they are going to listen to the recording and circle a or b to complete the sentences.

- Give them a few seconds to read the sentences in    silence.

- Play the recording for pupils to listen and do the task. Then play it again for them to check the answers.

- Get them to compare their answers in pairs before checking as a class.

Ask the class to read the completed sentences    aloud.

*Listen to the story :8’

- Tell the class that they are going to say the chant Have them read the chant and check their comprehension.

Play the recording all the way through for pupils to listen and follow in their books. Play it again for them to repeat each line.

Put the class into two groups to practise chanting the questions and answers respectively.

Have them practise saying the chants and doing actions in groups.

Invite two or three groups to say the chant and do  actions
